How will you reach me?
I don’t get the newspaper, I don’t look at the direct mail advertisements in my mailbox and I don’t watch much broadcast television. I’m not even sure if the radio in my car works - I plug in my phone and listen to Internet radio. I use my smartphone and my laptop all day long. If I can’t find you on these devices, you don’t exist in my world.
I use Google, Facebook and YouTube to research products, services, the best ramen spot in town, the closest coffee shop to me… pretty much anything before I decide on a purchase. My advice? First, make sure your website works seamlessly for mobile and desktop. Mobile visitors account for approximately half of web traffic worldwide (Source: Statista), so if they don’t have a good experience on your site, you’re driving away a huge portion of your potential traffic.
